The Tech Zone Gang

The Tech Zone was founded in April, 1999 by John
"Moto" Chow (that's me). Before April, the site was called Moto's Project 504.
The 504 representing the speed of my computer back then. Moto's Project 504 was
basically a personal home page about the very first computer that I built myself. The
entire site was six pages long back then. From those humble beginnings, The Tech Zone has
risen to become one of the largest hardware tech site on the net. Currently the site has
over 1000 pages and gets over 50,000 page request per day.
The site has done a lot more than just allow me to
review hardware. I have met many new friends because of it. Some of them are now part of
the site. Since most of you know me and can find out more about me from my interview
with System Logic or The Globe & Mail or
my pretty bad attempt at making a home
page, I like to introduce the people who help keep The Tech Zone running smoothly.
Kincaid is The Tech Zone enforcer. If
I want someone taken care of, Kincaid does it. When he's not doing hits, Kincaid acts as
The Tech Zone Forums moderator. He's just itching to test out his God powers. Kincaid runs
a Celeron 366 at 550Mhz system using Windows 2000 Professional. Besides taking care of
business in the Forums, Kincaid also runs his own site, PC Extremes. You can email him at kincaid@pcextremes.com
Mudzy is The Tech Zone Forums
moderator and resident network specialist. He maintains The Tech Zone's LAN to keep it
running at tip top shape. When not moderating the Forums, Mudzy also does hardware
reviews. Mudzy runs a Celeron 366 at 550Mhz using Windows ME. You can email Mudzy at mudzy@thetechzone.com
Mick does reviews for The Tech Zone
(if he ever finds the time). Unlike Kincaid and Mudzy, Mick runs at Pentium III 450 at
580Mhz using Windows 98 SE. You can email him at mick@thetechzone.com
Zero is our hardware editor. Like me
he gets to play with a lot of toys. Zero also has the fastest computer among us. Currently
it's running at 1,000Mhz with more to come I'm sure. His favorite pick up line is
"Hey baby! Why dance with a hero when you can dance with a Zero?" You can email
Zero at zero@thetechzone.com
Missing from the above photo is Prophet.
Prophet is a new member to the team. He does news and is working on making the site load
faster by cleaning up the HTML. Prophet is very good with Flash. He made a Flash intro for
me on my personal home page. you can email Prophet at prophet@thetechzone.com
If you have any questions about my site or about
myself, you can contact me at moto@thetechzone.com
Thank you.
